Part1
As we Begin to talk about being prepared, there are so many things to think about. However we have to start somewhere. So I want you to imagine it is Wed. hump day 200pm you are winding down your work day and it happens.!!!!!!! The biggest quake in a century. What do you do??? of course some scream some run you go under the desk, and when it is done no power no Cell phone. no TV and no radio... So now what??? Some things to plan for . Where are your kids????? in school? on the bus? There are some people who work hours from home. Are you going to be able to get home?? bridges are gone. Traffic is piling up on the freeway. Where is you spouse?? OK enough ??? So the real question is are you ready for anything like this???. Just think about it. who can pick your kids up from school??? will they if this happens? Do you want them to? or are they stuck at school ? have you ever talked as a family on what if ? should happen. Trust me it will be a mad house wherever you go. Just look at the history of disasters, Katrina being a fresh reminder. Emergency preparedness is not only having food and water it is having a plan. being ready. It is sitting down and looking at your daily activities and making a plan. For example if things go wrong and I am at work we will meet at ? . Kids stay at school. I will pick you up . do not go with anyone. no neighbor no friend just me. Don't want to be looking all over the earth wondering where you are. Remember no Cell Phone. do you even remember what it was like to not have it?? do you have walkie talkies?? good idea maybe . the point is think it over talk about it and have set things no maybes. cold set rules. we will meet here. if you are not there in 4 hours we will meet at house. if not 48 hours at house we will be there. get it !!!! just some things to think about for the night. Remember if it happens and your not ready you will be saying I should have, I could have, I would have, and then it will be to late. DO NOT Procrastinate

Welcome
Hello and welcome. Have you ever had a time when you looked back, and thought I should have done that, or I could have done that, or if I had only known, I would have done that. I am sure we can all say yes to that ? I am here to try and help all of us not say these fatefull words any more. In life there are so many things that occur and take our time and energy away from our families. I have heard it said that hind sight is 20/20. I hope to help you have fore sight that can be 20/20. In this blog it will be presented what to do if ???? happens. From week to week we will talk about new and exciting things like how long can you and your family last without running water or power? or can you start a one match fire? Join me and lets have some fun preparing for the future and whatever it might bring.
